AMTRAK DAY TRIP
Members and friends met at the Suisun City Amtrak Train Station to ride the Capitol Corridor train to Old Sacramento where some visited the California Train Museum and others enjoyed leisurely shopping. After lunch at the Riverboat Delta King Pilothouse Restaurant, the group returned on the train in the afternoon. A few photos of the event can be seen by connecting to the link. A Church Retreat is held annually at beautiful Zephyr Point at Lake Tahoe, Nevada during the summer. As always, the gathering is a blend of convivial fellowship and a searching for personal spiritual growth.
FERRY TO SAN FRANCISCO
From Vallejo to Pier 39 in San Francisco via ferry gave us a chance to be tourists from across the bay. Food and sightseeing along the environs on a balmy weekday was just plain fun!

From Tiburon to Angel Island via ferrry to this historic island in San Francisco Bay. A motorized tram runs around scenic views, at one point all three bridges spanning the bay to San Francisco can be seen
